eBay Thread

Postby Rosario FC on Sun Aug 15, 2010 10:53 pm

I thought it might be a good idea to highlight ebay items that other boarders may have an interest in.

I'll start off with this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT
Listed as a 1940s Epiphone Archtop, it finishes on Tuesday 17th at 4.21pm, current bid £79

Could sound good with a floating humbucker, or even a neck-mounted dog ear P90.

I am going to have to resist this time Rosario, although it is very hard.

Lately I have been playing this beauty through an old 70's Fender Champ and it sounds (and looks) lovely:

I have a thing for White Falcons 8)

No worries SS, that was the point of the thread really, just to give other boarders the heads up on any interesting items they might not have known about.
I can't afford to bid on it at the either (just bought 2xAria AW75 for the kids), I can only dream about it's cracked lacquer loveliness!

If you spot anything worth posting, then stick it up.

Its not my stuff, its just coincidence that both of the items are from Scotland.

If that Epiphone was in tobacco sunburst I'd be seriously tempted to make a bid, but I'm skinto, August has been an expensive month for me.

Top track that is. Just reminded me, playing it now.
Also 'I Saw The Light' (Todd Rundgren) which is a mighty fine version, featuring the one and only BO'H on drums it says on the sleeve.
In fact if you haven't got it just buy it.
