I'm Alright Jack - high quality satire and Terry-Thomas to boot.

The old jackal sleeps in his vest.

There just something about Peter Sellers and even when the films weren't totally great (Casino Royale) he still grabbed you and made something not great somehow great. My favorites Dr. Strangelove and Being There. I love him in Kubrick's Lolita.

I agree with you guesty.. somehow he just stole the show completely and made it into something all of his own which he got away with because he was very good. All the Pink Panthers (except the first one) are really demeaning to his memory, especially the last one which is just out takes all spliced together after his death..

Chance the gardener was a very memorable role.. :D

A Shot In The Dark is the first appearance of Clouseau, right? Isn't this billed as the first Pink Panther film? :? :D

The first Clouseau film appearance was in the movie The Pink Panther. The main star of this caper "comedy" was David Niven and Clouseau was really a supporting character but was so strong they made a follow up with him A Shot in the Dark. Claudia Cardinale looked amazing in The Pink Panther though.

A Shot in the Dark is very funny but is it really the best?

The TFC song that used to be called Peter Sellers was I'll Make it Clear. I was right first time.
