Just watched it again on TV. I absolutely love it.

I watched half of it at a mates this afternoon, when it's on and you just catch it then somehow you end up watching the whole film. I think it's ace; compare Grease to the cheesy crap of Grease 2. As for ONJ, no reason for me to watch cos I'm not a bloke or a lesbian, so can't vote in the poll! :D I love The Sound Of Music anyway, and The King and I, and loads of others too, but Grease is always gonna be a great.

I'm old enough to remember the film being released and the singles being in the charts for what seemed like an eternity. I've always thought it was complete mince I'm afraid, not least because it caused all the divs at my school to start pretending they were John Travolta . Mrs G is a big fan though and always insists on watching it when it's on telly
And my favourite song's entitled "Boredom"

exactly the same sentiments for me.i took music far to seriously then
and couldnt get my head around why everyone wasnt listening to 'proper'
music like me :( what a tosser i was.
still brings back bad memories though so its a 'no its toss' from me.

Grease 2 is rubbish but it does have Michelle Pfeiffer  so cannot be classed as totally worthless.

I think for me Grease just reminds me of school summer holidays in the eighties when we used to watch it nearly everyday on video. Watching it again today I found myself knowing every single line of the entire film. Typical school holiday day 1985 :- Grease,Gregory's Girl,One Summer (classic early 80's Willy Russell drama), Bugsy Malone, Willy Wonka,Rocky. These things stick with you if they struck a chord at an early age.

I also cannot stand it, and the songs are awful. That medley reminds me of horrible nights in horrible cheesey discos filled with shite 80's music.

In my opinion ... Grease is PISH. And I mean PISH.

Some of my family members are fans. I am NOT.

In fact, I fuckin hate it.

Fact.

The words do not exist to describe how bad I think this film is. It is horrible.

I loved 'One Summer', you just knew it was gonna end in tragedy though, but wasn't it great all the same. As for 'Gregory's Girl', it's lovely isn't it, in all the right ways even now after a million and 9 viewings :D MP in Grease 2 is a state, lets be honest here, the only saving grace is the mystery man in black and I'm scraping the barrel giving it even that :P

I'm not a fan at all. Movie musicals are generally a mixed bag, and Grease is way down on that list. The musical was at it's peak in the early 60's and nothing has equaled it.

I saw some of that programme about the 100 something or other musicals and nodded everytime they mentioned one and muttered 'yup' under my breath and when they said Grease was number one, I was like 'Yes, oh, that's great, I would have said that too!' Mrs Baker then said, this is the 100 GREATEST musicals of all time'.......I thought it was the 100 WORST of all time with Grease being the worst ever! Ooops!
There is only one problem with the younger generation. Many of us no longer belong to it!

Can't think how they could have made Grease any worse than it is.

Oh hang on, I've just thought of something...

...they could've set it in a Salford Shopping Centre.
