it is interesting to see muffin downplay his passion for golf. "DONT REALLY LIKE IT BUT I PLAY OFF 5" ya sure muffin like you just got to that standard by sleeping. and can you deny that you set an 18 hole golf course up on the evening shift once ? oh yes soon you'll stop wearing the loafers and listening to dance music.

Seeing as your quote is not what I said I feel I need to reply. If you read back to the original page you will see that I said "I wouldn't say I love the game but I do ENJOY IT."

i think this is a case of "good point well made" on my part but so long as golf is the winner.

if you do...fair play to you.

if you don't...guess what? nobody's forcing you to play or watch the game so what's the gripe?

personally, i despise rugby and everything that's associated with the game...so...i've decided to neither play nor watch it. revolutionary approach, that may be, but it works!

I love rugby but I can understand people who don't - I mean, essentially its played by the same tossers that spend their summers up the golf club.

Don't play golf that often, but have racked up a few birdies in my time. Best hole is usually the 19th when you're gagging for it on a warm day!

Golf is a great sport, although agreed it does need to be dragged into the 21st century, it's a lot less elitist than horse racing which is also 100 times duller than golf could ever be!! Playing it can be as despairing and rewarding in equal measures but never boring... if that makes me a dullard then so be it....

BTW Pinball you should play more often you'd be playing off scratch in no time!!!

i am also a dullard
but only a fairweather one,
cant be arsed getting out of bed in winter on a saturday morning
at 5am just to get a game.
