One for the mainly WoS Boarders.

The BBC has just announced that the guests at the Quay Sessions on 7/12 are Teenage Fanclub.

Search BBC Audience Invites or Quay Sessions to apply for free tickets. And, if you get a spare, don't forget yer old da here.

Would've loved to stay an extra day or two for this!
Have to get to WERA's first birthday party, would be poor form to miss it considering how much work I put in for it to happen.

I'm in! Didn't think I would make it but a last minute nativity play ticket swap gets me out of jail for tonight! Hope I meet big Judith Ralston, she's a honey!

Well this one was a bit different. A massive queue to get in, then a mild panic as to whether we were actually going to get in before securing a decent view of the stage TFC were to play on and handy for the bar. First band up were Lewis and Lee who were fairly talented but a tad bland for my ears. They went down well but no-one was there to see them. TFC came on about 8:30 and played a set mainly based around Here. It was fairly obvious early on that a very garrulous Norman was half pished  and had been over imbibing in the green room. Cue lots of swearing, tuning (no Guitar George to bail him out here) and fluffed intros. The editor will be very busy to get this sorted for broadcast tonight.

Good to see Macca rocking out gently in his chair and Rosario at front of the dad pit.

Just like the old days - endearingly shambolic. I loved it.

Good summary! I enjoyed myself, saw you at the end but you were away before I could say "Hi!" Spoke to Murray and Macca, saw Duglas and Rosario on the TV monitor! Didn't see big Judith, only Eileen Clarke and she's not in the same league!!! Have always said the band are more endearing when half-cut! It should be a routine pre-show requisite, bring back the drugs too! hahahaha!! 8) Norman mumbling "they'll need to edit this out!" before shouting FUCK! hahahahaha! Priceless!

I'd like to see the UNCUT version.

Do we know anyone in BBC Scotland who could get us a shady copy.
