I'm hopeless at remembering setlists, but something like five and a half Fanclub songs, one Jonny and a few Pernice Brothers/Scud Mountain Boys songs and a couple of covers, including Butcher's Tale by The Zombies. A really strong set based around the classics.

Don't think this has been mentioned on any of the New Mendicants threads so far - they are playing Bristol tomorrow night too. As far as I'm aware, this is the full list of dates for the tour:

7th Dublin, Whelans
8th Cambridge, Cambridge Portland Arms
9th Bristol, Colston Hall 2
10th London, The Lexington
11th Nottington, The Glee
12th Birmingham, The Glee
13th Manchester, Deaf Institute
14th Hebden Bridge, Trades Club
15th Glasgow, Mono

8) Look forward to checking out the video later - YouTube blocked at work. Pernice had Butcher's Tale in his set at some point. I forget which tour - maybe around Live a Little or it could have been the book tour.
Ain't lost yet, so I gotta be a winner

For anyone off to the Deaf Institute, the gig has been moved to the Burgess Institute instead: http://www.anthonyburgess.org/visiting- ... to-find-us

Had a lovely evening with the New Mendicants in Bristol, and met up with Cawlio, Jago and my lovely friend as well.

An extremely pleasant evening. :-)

So London tonight, I may have to get there late but better late than not at all.

Time to bring this thread to life again :-)

Two nights of the Mendicants in July. Should be great fun!

... enjoy that then Terjely. Cool.

Hey Norman and Joe - how about changing that promo pic of you two - every time I see it, I think you look like a couple of criminals or something
