Yep.

While the Twin Tone years established the bands reputation, their Sire albums are what made them great. And while many "critics" diss All Shook Down, it's a great album (it reminds of the treatment Thirteen received).

Love! I have little hope for someone who can't find greatness at least somewhere in these records.

Agree. Also some of Westerberg's/Grandapaboy solo stuff is ace. Some of the download stuff he is releasing at the moment, I don't thing will earn him new fans, but the 49.00 stuff was excellent. Other stuff is him just jamming and sampling, it's an acquired taste.

Uh... all of them.

OK, OK...I would get Don't Tell a Soul and All Shook Down last. Not a knock against them, really, but I like those least. Westerberg solo, try Stereo/Mono first.

Can you even still by WTSHTF? Or is it tacked onto one of the reissues? I can't recall, and still haven't bought them, because I'm still thinking they might wind up under the x-mas tree this year.

I would say the absolute must-haves are:
Let it Be
Tim
Pleased to Meet Me

The should-also-haves:
Sorry Ma...
Hootenanny

Then Stink, DTAS, and ASD. Then the odds and ends left over.

Yeah, just not as awesome as Sorry Ma, Hootenanny, LIB, Tim or PTMM. But what is? Answer: practically nothing.

Let It Be is consensus, but Pleased To Meet Me is close. All of their albums are good (for some reason or another).
Man, I loved "Stink" - total high school soundtrack.

Great video, azul. After watching, I had a hankering to hear this one. Only live version I could find was terrible, so studio it is. I'm turning it up loud. Rise and shine, neighbors. It's 6:30 AM and this is your wake up call.
