B&S ATP

B&S ATP

Postby guest on Fri Mar 26, 2010 12:55 pm

Just been announced that Belle and Sebastian are curating the 2nd weekend of The Nightmare Before Christmas in December. Around 40 bands to be announced soon. Hopefully TFC will be among them. Possibly even Jonny too?
Thoughts?

Are these all held at Minehead now? No more Camber Sands?

Best weekend of my life music wise when they shared a bill before at the original bowlie. I've a feeling the one off shows will now be pretty much finished with Norman over the pond, but if the Jonny album is out later in the year who knows.

I'm still up for them. Pretty easy to get cheap flights now and I don't mind the flying :)

:D

You say that now, you could get tired of it really quickly.

I love flying but it's really boring when your stuff gets damaged or goes missing.

It would be amazing if they could have the original Bowlie lineup. Maybe with Edwyn Collins and James Kirk. And Jens Lekman and m ward. And Richard Hawley and the Leisure Socieity. And the Math & Physics Club and a solo set from Francis. But I'm sure they have amazingly good taste and we'll have a most amazing weekend. (oh, and that C86 film that Bob Stanley was making for the Bowlie TV) ....

I was at that original Bowlie Festival :D

Sure I remember Raymond playing his "Red Special" Brian May guitar there

A great few days

I might remortgage for this! If Norman's willing to come over, then it seems only fair!
