What's it off? Got it on an old compilation but is it a b-side to an early single?

Wasn't it recorded specially for it?

Mad Dog 20/20, just the name gives me nightmares. Trying to control a bunch of guys who are off their tits AND smashed on Mad Dog. I've had some shit jobs in my time. Dunno what it tastes like, I have never been able to drink MD 20/20 since that night, shudder.
I LOVE my TFC umbrella! :-)

If you go back to the DGC Rarities Volume 1 album sleeve (US), this is what is written:
"The song is about teenage life in our hometown. Drinking cheap wine in summer parks, trying to work out when the future starts. The song was not allowed on Thirteen because it includes the word 'fizzin'' which is legally banned in Scotland under the 'Good Lyric Act' of 1973. We could have changed it but last year wasn't a good year to sell out! The music was recorded in Glasgow, the vocals, obviously, were not." - Gerard Love

It's also on the Creation Unreleased album.

Not a b-side to a single.

has anyone had the good fortune to have sampled Mad Dog 20 20 AND Buckfast ... ?

i gather they are the same kind of gourmet product.

perhaps such lucky souls could give us a comparison.
I will now proceed to untangle the entire area.

No can't say I've had the misfortune of that cocktail. Big difference in taste but both attract the same cultures. Always imagined Gerry Love as more of a cold half decker a Buckie man myself right enough

Recipe for buckfast: Take 1 bottle Jagermeister. add 0.5 kilo sugar. stir. imbibe.

Recipe for M/D 20/20: Take "fruit" flavour ice lollies. add methanol. (or ethanol, if you're posh). imbibe.

not at the same time, though, if you please.

i'd say bucky has more psychoactive qualities and more calories.

so partake of md/20/20 as part of your calorie controlled

Used to get wankered all the time on it.

I regularly used to some to the conclusion that booze was better than girls. Insofar as it was reliable. But I got over it.

If drinking Mogen David, why not go with Manischewitz Concord Grape? That's great stuff.
