Square Eyes ...

OMG didn't even twig till just now that we never found out what the Counsellor was doing in her house! OMG!

Series 2 goss is a bit vague as to if there will even be one.

But Westworld? OMG I loved all the tricks they played with the viewer and how everything was revealed in the final episode, there were so many OMG moments of dawning realisation about parts of the plot that up till then been revealed very slowly each week. The escape was so tense, and the post credit was pretty exciting too. I love a post credits scene, me!

Taboo.. yeah, watched that.. not too sure, bit funny in places but I don't think it was intentional.. he's a bit strange is Tom H, can be very good in certain things and then mumbly and starey in others. His wife is a good actress, Charlotte Riley, she was in Close To The Enemy on the Beeb just before crimbo.. Stephen Poliakoff spy thing, dunno if you saw that..

Forgot to watch that Silent Witness concluding episode last night (was it good? lol) cos I was watching Leonardo DiCaprio getting mauled by a bear and having to really eat raw buffalo liver and catch fish (he's soooooooo 'Method' lol) in The Revenant on Bluray..

And last visit to the cinema was Assassins Creed with Michael Fassbender which, knowing the series of games its based on (cos me kids play them), was surprisingly good considering all the vicious critical reviews of it in the media and the fact that I watch my kids play them, not play them myself..

Just finished Quarry, fantastic. Set in 1972 Memphis (yes, there are several Big Star references 8) ). Peter Mullan is especially good as the subtly sinister gang boss. The whole series is steeped in music and it seemed people were either listening to or handling vinyl at some point per episode!

I just finished watching Series 3 of Shetland on Public Broadcasting Television. I've read a couple Ann Cleeves novels. I enjoyed these series through the years.
Odd living in Chicago I can't watch Chicago PD, Chicago Fire or any of the "Chicago" tv series. Much prefer the UK crime drama. Also enjoyed Case Histories & The Tunnel.

OMG just finished watching the first ep of Legion. Absolutely stunning. Only vaguely familiar with the Marvel character, but this is like no super hero I've ever seen. It doesn't yet feel like it fits in the Marvel universe at all, not a bad thing so far. Written and directed by Noah Hawley, but parts of this felt like watching a Michel Gondry film. It was a bit full on, and I couldn't absorb fully as the cat kept wanting to go out, so I think another watching is in order. I absolutely loved it. I hope they can keep up the pace, beautiful set pieces and scenes and the confusion. I'm very confused. But I like it.

Since my Hulk/ Fantastic Four wearing tshirt nylon crackling static days (anyone remember those 70s tshirts?) I've been in to comics / graphic novels.. have to say the last Wolverine film 'Logan' was excellent.. I do love a good X Men romp! And Wolverine / X23 / Logan has been a great character to watch evolving on screen.

Marvel's Iron Fist on Netflix gets a nope, whereas their Jessica Jones gets a yep!

I've been patiently watching the presidential based series also on Netflix - Designated Survivor, with Keifer Sutherland and its gradually got better..

Logan's on my list for when it gets on telly or Sky or summat. Not been out much, can't manage the cinema at the mo.

I enjoyed Iron Fist but he's the character I knew the least about. Is he meant to be a selfish, whiny little bitch? I didn't warm to him but liked it it spite of him. And it's not a patch on Jessica Jones or Luke Cage.

Watched all of Taboo in one week, enjoyed it but didn't get a couple of bits. Why did he do this and this? Which would be spoilers so nope.

Watched our backlog of Inside No 9, blimey each episode so different in mood and theme, some amazing telly right there.

Santa Clarita Diet, omg gory and pukey, things I hate. But it's great and very funny.

Travelers on Netflix, very enjoyable spin on time travel, set in the present day, really watchable engaging cast. Shame they can't spell Travellers.

Currently watching and laughing at Schitt's Creek on Netflix.
