If i left now, would I make it ?

I expect Norman will be scurring around with piece of paper and pen in a few hours, scratching his head for names, having fortgotten to write them down before he left Chez Blake. But as Bazza said, he'll come thru' NO PRESSURE NORMAN :D

Fantastic night, wall to wall smiles, middle-aged men wiped away tears of joy over a wish-list set-list. Edwyn and the guys were on fantastic form
All over far too quickly though.

It doesn't really get much better. I'm not prone to involuntary acts but it was difficult not to sing, dance, clap, scream, holler and whistle. The set was truly magnificent, beautifully and lovingly played by TFC. I've seen some of those songs played by Roddy Frame, Andy Hackett and Paul Cook - wonderful they were too, but I don't think they've sounded better than tonight.

THANK YOU MR BLAKE.

I'm not really back but that was special and so I felt I had to come by and say that it was very special from Falling and Laughing to witnessing Norman take a verse of Blue Boy. When we were teenagers listening to those two Postcard singles we couldn't dream that one of us one day would be up there playing with Edwyn and taking a verse on Blue Boy.
It was like those songs were the start of our journey and so tonight felt really very extra special.
And how great did TFC play those songs? Answer: Very great.

And for those poor souls living overseas or otherwise unable to make it tonight there was plenty of video footage recorded. In the fullness of time this will become available.

There are very few things that can top a great gig. There will be very few, if any, great gigs that can top that one. Edwyn was in great form and great voice and obviously having a great time.
TFC were fantastic, note perfect, and looked as excited as kids in a free toy shop (especially Norman). Eveybody in the room was having the time of their life.
A truly life-affirming night.
I still haven't calmed down.

wandered down after I got out of college just after nine and managed to get in
would rather have been there than anywhere else tonight
we really are blessed with the music scene we have in this fair city
I got some photos at the front but left either during or after the first song
and went to the side to get a few shots as I think people can do without me blocking their views
what a great gig and what an amazing atmosphere :D

will link to my photos when I get them online
and it was nice to meet the boarders I hadn't already met :)
