Following that signed stuff thread, i was wondering what stuff you guys got signed.. not only TFC

I guess i've got only 4 things.

1.Superchunk's Follish cd sleeve - got it signed when they played in brazil many years go
2.Joe Strummer - an ordinary piece of paper signed by the man at brixton academy last year.
3. Michael Pailn's Sahara book - went to his reading... it's was really good.
4. A nice yellow post it with a little message and a signature of Ally Kerr, he sent it with the EP... :D collectable stuff for when he is famous.

I have -

Oasis ticket signed by Liam Gallagher
Plectrum got off Noel Gallagher - both at a gig in 1994

Copy of NME signed by Ian Brown - met him at Manchester Airport

Songs from Northern Britain Press release signed by Norm, Ray and Gerry about four years ago.

I don't think I'd ask any celebrities for an autograph now - any I have I got in my teens when I was younger and more impressionable.

I think there's something to be said about never meeting your idols as they could let you down.

Having said that any people in bands etc i've meet have been ok - especially the fannies.

i don't ask for autographs i feel really stupid... tho, Michael Palin was signing the books... a massive queue, so that was fine. The Superchunk i was a teen and Joe Strummer is ... Joe Strummer... i took a pic with him as well.

I never met the fannies, and if i find any of then in a pub or on the street i would never come up and talk to them... 1st, cos i can't speak english properly and would probably make a fool of myself... 2nd, what is there to be said? 'Oh Norman, i like tfc a lot'... that's just silly, isn't it? He would probably look at me and say 'oh.. ok, thanks' and walk away... so, what's the point, i would blush and feel stupid for about a month... like when i got the photo with Joe. However Norman likes talking, doesn't he? So he could say something like 'what? i don't understand what you say, you're not british are you?' he he

If i saw Gerry or Ray... well... i would hide... i'm too shy for this kinda thing... i would not even look at them and also feel very silly for not talking to them for a month... like in 'maui, you twat, you could at least said something'... he he

oh i don't know... so complicated

Anyway, i'm one of the few that never met the band in here...

I got the autographs of nearly all the Manchester United 1968 European Cup winning team at a charity dinner in Belfast about 4 years ago. All my boyhood heroes were there including Law, Best and Charlton.

Remember Craig McLaghlin and Check 1-2? The drummer left them because he was complaining Craig was getting all the publicity and the band were being ignored.

It's also unbelievable Guy Pierce is a big movie star now - he's come a long way from playing with Bouncer in Neighbours.

I vaguely remember Stefan Dennis having a single out too.

Oh, my brother has so many football players autographs... and he's got Senna's as well... that must worth something nowadays.
