Tomtom got me a signed poster from one of the Fannies Ireland gigs. It was the one that was used for the postcards in the DVD.

Son of Albert Hammond, once famously namechecked by Half Man Half Biscuit.

Yes and currently enjoying something of a renaissance on the back of his son's success, it would seem.

Great hair - looks like my mate Kenny and Daniel Tomassi of Roma AC. Cool.

That's the wan. I'm a Samp man (by default), to be honest. But I do like the Roma kit.

Gives a lot of his dough to charidee, I understand. Very impressive when I saw him interviewed, which is more than you can say for my mate Kenny or any of the Strokes.

i used to collect autographs all the time when i was younger. now i don't tend to bother most of the time anymore. among the prized:

-paul simon 'rhythm of the saints' poster signed by paul and most of the international players he had with him on that tour (most didn't speak *ANY* english)
-elvis costello 'live at the el mocambo' cd signed by elvis and steve nieve
-big star '#1 record' lp signed by alex chilton (i didn't get it signed, but it is authentic. i found it along with a sealed promo copy 'radio city' in an ardent folder with heaps of inserts. off topic, but that's probably my most prized record).
-cheap trick 'sex america cheap trick' box set signed by the band as well as dave grohl, who just happened to be there that night.

oooh....and i have a signed copy of metallica's 'ride the lightning' on lp. too bad that one got demolished when my record collection got flooded in the basement a few years ago. i was heartbroken about that one! ;)

Jordan, Joey, Donnie, Danny and Johnathan (NKOTB)

and Tom Baker's autograph

:?: Could you mean Dr. #4, by chance? I've got his and Dr. #6's, Colin Baker.

I didn't think I had too many, but I guess I have a few.

Mike Singletary - former Chicago Bear
Scottie Pippen & Tony Kukoc - former Chicago Bulls (yeah, they play for those other teams now...pah!)
Kurt Vonnegut - a signed book that was given to me; Timequake, I think
Ron Sexsmith - a postcard someone gave to me
Jimmie Dale Gilmore
Joe Strummer and all the Mescaleros
Marshall Crenshaw
Nick Lowe
Elvis Costello
Paul Westerberg

The biggest prize: an LP copy of Parallel Lines signed by Debbie Harry, Chris Stein, Jimi Destri and Clem Burke

There may be a couple I'm forgetting. I think my copy of Joe Jackson's book was signed, but I can't remember. Terrible....

i remember one time soneone on ebay managed to sell a copy of sloan's 'rhodes jam' 7" on ebay for $150 US! i think there were only about 500 pressed, and less than that sold (i wound up with an extra couple at one point from their manager - minus the embossed cardboard sleeve).

however, as sick as it sounds, i can't get rid that NKOTB album (or any of my albums...for the most part). dunno why. it'll prolly stay sealed for years to come yet, too.

i think the only record i've ever actually sold out of my collection was a copy of led zeppelin IV. i couldn't even stand to look at the bloody spine anymore, let alone ever hear the damned thing again. i think i'd bought it cheap at a market. no love lost on that one. i like the first zep album, but that's really it for the most part. after that, it's a few scattered tracks.
