In honor of Halloween, a photo I took last year in Tarragona, Catalunya: This is a t-shirt shop in the old part of the city. The Catalan reads: "Zombies hate fast food!"

In Shanghai, construction workers install scaffolding on the top of a building at sunset. China announced that it was likely to meet its growth target for the year, more good news for Communist party policymakers meeting in Beijing

What it looks like off my balcony at this moment in time. The tall building with elevator shaft on side is Trellick Tower in Ladbroke Grove. I love cloud formations like this, reminds me of Turner landscapes..

I love Trellick Tower, loved seeing it going in or out of Paddington on the train, or on the Westway flyover.

Rumour has it that a certain prolific bass guitar smashing musician / artist lives there but I haven't seen anything of him as yet. Close family used to live in Grove 70s n 80s and I have some friends who live in the blocks surrounding Trellick.. Been to a few shabeens there too.. There's another identical block also built by Goldfinger in the East end worth seeking out for those of a similar disposition as myself who like a bit of Brutalist architecture.

I also love Trellick Tower. The Ulster Museum is a brutalist masterpiece, recently fucked about internally by some idiots with no respect for its purity.

That said, have a look at the new Arts Centre/gallery/theatre my brother's firm designed which opened last year. Hints of brutalism here too. Lovley! Hall McKnight: coming to a city near you (if you live in London...)
