Which era TFC is that song from? I can't remember where I got it, but it's a great track.

Sounds like a cover, maybe?

It be a Ray Tune.

tomtom, pinball, you guys are both confused. You need to work on that short term memory. Sheeze, it was only 4 years ago (2001). B-side to the Dumb Dumb Dumb CD single. But a Ray tune.

By the way, anyone can clear up the lyrics in italics below?

Thaw Me – McGinley

My head can't find a place where it wants to be
My melancholic eyes don't know what to see
I feel so cold inside
But your sunny summer skies are gonna thaw me

When I'm awake my thoughts don't know where to stay
While I'm asleep I dream about yesterday
I feel so cold inside
But your sunny summer skies are gonna thaw me

You forget when you're feeling better
???All the time your sentimental
Wetter than the rain???

Seeing people in different places
You never see a strangers face again

I feel so cold inside
But your sunny summer skies are gonna thaw me

I feel so cold inside
But your sunny summer skies are gonna thaw me

I feel so cold inside
But your sunny summer skies are gonna thaw me

That's not a McGinley song. I didn't have to bust out the dictionary once. It's a fake!

Says so on the CD. "2. THAW ME (RAYMOND MCGINLEY)".

Wait you are right, it says Chuck Berry.

He also did "I Lied" on the I Need Direction single.

If its Chuck Berry it just goes to show how good TFC b-sides are as I thought this was one of the weaker b-sides. And its a cover!!!!!!!

Genius b-sides:
Traffic jam
Getting Real
Headstand
The Count
He'd Be a Diamond

And lots of others
I'm a cactus trying to be a canoe

One of my favourite Raymond songs. The Count and The Middle Of The Road are great as well.

Also, slightly off topic, how good is Every Step Is A Way Through???

Excellent tune. :D
