Exactly my point. If Marcos, for example, recommends something I've never heard, well, I know what he's championed in the past and that his taste is pretty similar to mine. So, I'd give his opinion more weight than I would that of Guest, who could be any number of people whose taste I may or may not be familiar with.

Georgia i think you will like The James last Orchestra. A greatly under rated artist. He's one of my favourites. Nana miskouri is good as well. Greek folk with an almost impenetratable sunny melow sound. But it has a dark undercurrent.

What do you know? Another great and underappreciated band to push--The Young Fresh Fellows. Scott McCaughey is a very gifted individual indeed! When will you be coming to my town, Scott? Maybe the new Minus5 CD, Down with Wilco, will catch enough buzz and they'll go out on tour. 8)
