Saw this one yesterday. Funny, moving, uplifting and a must if you've ever been to Barcelona.

Is Gamesmaster on or something? The C64 had a belter of a theme tune - all hail Sid.

I seem to remember Trading Places suffering this particular fate. I think they've calmed down recently now that Mary Whitehouse has snuffed it.

Today it was The Rage in Placid Lake. Loved it. Who'd a thunk Ben Lee would be such a great actor?

"l'effrontee". What an excellent French film from the mid 80s.
It stars Charlotte Gainsbourg as an awkward teenager living in a sleepy French town.
Bored and frustrated, she develops a fixation on a piano playing child prodigy, Clara, who visits to give a recital at a local hall.
Very touching and funny film about the trials of adolescence by the director Claude Miller.
The French dvd has no subtitles, but the region one, available through amazon.com, is just dandy for those of us whose French is poor.
merci.
