Will Drive become a cult classic along the lines of: The Italian Job; Bullitt, and Vanishing Point?

I'd like to see that pretty soon - I'm a big fan of the crime writer James Sallis, who wrote the original book, anything by him, but especially the Lew Griffin ones is worth getting hold of.

I'm not keen on films with what I'd view as unnecessary violence, so the only complaint I'd have is that there were a couple of scenes that were too graphic for my liking. Otherwise it's a compelling watch.

pretty good film but yeah some of those scenes were a bit of a shock.

great jacket, but if you're not a puppy-dog-eyed-hero-psychopath, it won't look so good on you - http://unrealitymag.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/drive1.jpg

I almost didn't see it cause I'm tired of the Burton/depp colabs but it was good . I was a fan of the TV show as a kid so that may influence me .

I didn't see it as a kid but I've watched the odd episode as we used to get it here on one of the cable channels for a while.. might still go to see it. I am getting a bit sick of seeing Helena Bonham Carter everywhere though she is a good actress, especially in the Harry Potter films.
