The latest film by Shane Meadows starring Paddy Consendine, with Gary Stretch as the bad guy is truly awesome - really dark, really riveting and funny in places.

A must see.

soundtrack and film production from Warp as well.

Can't wait to see this as I love Shane Meadows first three films. A Room For Romeo Brass is a classic :D . Incidently its showing on BBC 2 tomorrow night for anyone who hasn't seen it. Anyone interested in the works of Mike Leigh,Ken Loach and Alan Clarke will love it.

I saw it the other night too. Really enjoyed it- reminded me very much of Room For Romeo Brass and Smalltime (one of his shorts). Gritty, realistic and subtly done.

Good to see he's back on form after Once Upon A Time In The Midlands.
