No Neko, I suppose? I see they're supported by a band called Striplight.

They sound alright from the demos available.

Top gig! A+ for the pedal steel man, but the brothers put on a tremendous piece of entertainment, including a Ramones cover in the encores.

Good to see Doug and the Ardrossan crew.

Amazing night.
Have to admit to not having heard a lot of the Sadies apart from some Neko stuff and Stories Often TOld but who needs to when they are so good?!

For references see a mix between Beachwood Sparks and Calexico with a shake of Elvis and the Ramones and a kick of Johnny Cash!

They played LOADS Of songs. Dont know half of them like standards and murder ballads. The songs from the new album sound really good and only cash flow stopped me buying the album last night (gies a rip colin  ) but i will be getting it.
Covers by Elvis, Cash and Dont Come Close by the Ramones broke the night up nicely.

I thought the band were really tight. The brothers guitar playing was awesome! Stunning!!! Rythm section to die for and the drummer especially was very good.
Steel player was alright and obviously a hired hand...and no Jon Rauhouse thats for sure

Really glad i went now and alwasy good to see the Colin.
Leave it to Beaver on Saturday Col? :D

it was a good gig. I aint much good with fancy words and technical stuff about music, but 69's quote 'its a rythm section to die for' about sums it up.
