Ae Fond Kiss

Anyone else been to see this yet. Caught it the other night and what an excellent wee film it is. As with all Ken Loach films it has a real human feel to it and he seems to capture the truest picture of emotion ever to make it to celluloid. Not quite as good as Land and Freedom but then what is?

If he was from Venus, would he feed us with a spoon?
If he was from Mars, wouldn't that be cool?

Its ace! :D Ken Loach is a genius for me. Anyone who's CV includes Kes, Cathy Come Home, Poor Cow, Riff Raff, Raining Stones etc. (the list of classics could continue) deserves total and utter respect.
Your obsession gets you known throughout the school for being strange, making lifesize models of The Velvet Underground in clay.

As director there's probably only one person whose CV could contain those films. ;-) I know what you mean though.
