watching this at the mo

one of the saddest, bleakest most depressing films I have ever seen.
With the right kind of eyes,you can almost see the high watermark-the place where the wave broke and rolled back.

i saw it a couple of years ago. yeah, it's very sad and depressing. i remember walking out of cinema totally devastated.
but i liked it a lot.

It was very sad but there was a lot of heart in it and the young lead actress was so charming it made it even sadder. :cry:

Haven't seen this yet, but I'm a big fan of Moodyson's "Fucking Amal" and especially "Together" which is probably his lightest in tone and is pretty funny. I hear his new one is even more depressing and dark than "Lilya". Such an interesting director.
God save strawberry jam and all the different varieties.
