Quite right, Jody. It might not be an album you'll still listen to in a month's time, but the hit's good while it lasts.

love how everyone's obsessed with the idea that this album's got a sell by date that's just about to come up. tfd seems particularly bothered, like his friends are gonna be round at his merchant city penthouse and it's all going well, very sophisticated conversation, sensible drinking etc etc...when all of a sudden...fuck sake, check big coll, he's still got the go! team album. oh the shame!

I'm just worried about the damage a dropped tray of hors d'oeuvres could do to my priceless afghan hearth rug.

I've been holding off buying this, due to the terrible exchange rate (just can't see paying $18-20 US for a copy), but I just noticed that if you order from the Memphis Industries Web site, you get half off any other item in the label's back catalog. Not a bad deal. Is there another album on this label you all would recommend? Almost all of the stuff on their "sound booth" sounds pretty good.

Erm...did anyone happen to film their London gigs for me?

You cannot tell me you won't still be listening to "Everybody's A VIP To Someone" decades from now. (same goes for the rest, :D )

I listened to this again last night and it's still hitting home. Jings, have these Go Team people found the secret formula? The musical equivalent of Wonka's everlasting gob-stopper.
