The Primary 5 + ???? @ Nice N Sleazy's

Postby Guest on Sun Sep 05, 2004 12:17 am

I reckon th primary5 got a great songwriter in paul quin. and whats amazing is not only does his stuff sound a bit tfc(compliment) it's as if he's distilled the best bits from each member song styles. ok I'm a bit drunk and may be of on one ..but thats the impression I got from a listen to the tracks on the p5 site.

Well some people just don't know how to take a compliment. If you don't want people to mention you sound like teenage fanclub, don't sound like them. People always latch on to the obvious.

I take it that this is aimed directly at me. First of all I don't mind what people think, if you think it sounds like Teenage Fanclub then great ,TFC are a brilliant group. I didn't write these songs with a formula of emmulating the Fanclub, I just wrote some songs for gods sake.
And just in case anyone forgot, I was a part of Teenage Fanclub for five or so years. so chill out.

Paul Q. It was meant as a compliment and some idiot tried to make something more out of it.

Good luck for the gig tonight Ally & the Primary 5. Probably one day I'll get a chance to catch you up there in good old Scotland. beat
The one thing that would make the world alright today would be if Teenage Fanclub showed up to play a gig in my house.
