Definitely trying to get there this year as I've still not been. I've done Reading five times and always enjoy that and wouldn't mind again. I've been to the V one quite a few times and that is usually okay. I'd go to them all if I could afford it but they are getting that expensive now at well over £100 a ticket. I'll be at one of them if nothing else

So many of my favourite bands were on last year that I think this year will have an impossible job living up to it:

Mogwai
SFA
Sigur Ros
Doves
REM
Grandaddy
Royksopp
Love
De La Soul

This year? Well Christy Moore as definite and Doves (again), Blondie and Snow Patrol as rumours. Not much for me so far.

Looking at the line up it isn't so hot really. Maybe Reading or V maybe the better option.

I think Glastonbury's about a lot more than the bands, and there are still lots of slots to be filled despite the known horror of the headliners. I'm currently in indecisive mode.

I went to V for the day last year and it was horrible would never dream of going back. Reading, even though it does have a rather dodgy line up year after year is still IMO the best festival.

Best band of Glasto 2003, closely followed by my other local band the Delgados.

Mogwai sounded brilliant, but the the lack of any visual interest stopped them being one of the best for me. I think they work much better at night with lights (and a bit of dry ice :D ). And what's with all the head-nodding in the audience? I didn't get where I am today by head-nodding.

As for The Delgados - twee out of tune indie at its worst I'm afraid.
