Hi, Me and Jad will be in London one week from tonight, May 12th, for the first show of our short European tour. Venue is the 100 Club and the show is promoted by Bird On The Wire. Here’s a link to their website with all the relevant information.
And here’s a flyer with details of the other shows that we will be playing. Thanks, Norman.
Francis has made an instrumental album which will be officially released on the 30th March 2015. Available for “pre-order” now at www.francismacdonald.com
Over to you, Francis…
” Not sure what to say – it’s an instrumental album recorded at Mogwai’s Castle Of Doom. I played piano and a celeste borrowed from RSNO . The string quartet are musicians with the Glasgow string orchestra Scottish Ensemble.
I like it – I hope I’m not the only one… ”

On Thursday 27th November, two weeks tonight, we will be in the usual formation on a fairly big stage playing some of our songs at Week-End #4 in Köln, Germany.
As a group we have always been very fond of Köln; it was the first city that provided us with free food, before a show in front of about twenty people at Rose Club during our first European tour in 1890, and we have strong memories of returning to the city through the years. This time, we’re appearing at Stadthalle with The Clientele, Amen Dunes, and Nicholas Krgovich.
If you happen to be in the vicinity, come see us.
