We’re very pleased to announce that we’ll be helping our friends at Merge Records celebrate their 25th anniversary by playing at Merge 25 in Carrboro NC this summer on Saturday July 26th. It’s a great lineup. This trip will be our first live outing in two years, so we better get practising.

Hi,

I’m pleased to announce that I’ve been invited to play a couple of songs at a very special event which has been organised to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of Daniel Johnston’s Hi, How Are You!

The show takes place on the 2nd of June 2013 at the Barbican Centre in London. Daniel will be performing along with a number of guests. Myself, Jeffrey Lewis and Emmy The Great are already signed up with more people to be added in the near future.

Following the vinyl only release of Harmony Springs earlier this year, the Snowgoose debut will soon also be available on CD and download.  The Open Hearth version (pictured) comes out on November 12th, and across the Atlantic Ba Da Bing Records will be releasing on Oct 30th.  Ba Da Bing will also be distributing the vinyl LP.

Following a few low key outings recently with just Jim, Dave and Anna in acoustic format, supporting Mark Lanegan and the like, the band will be stepping out in full electric form, joined again by Stuart Kidd, Raymond McGinley and Chris Geddes.  The first of these two concerts will be at King Tuts in Glasgow on Mon Nov 12th, and then they play their first full band London headline show at Camden Barfly on Friday Nov 16th.
